Raptor Shift Light Install-Corvette
80-95 Corvette:
Tach signal is white wire at distributor or at instrument panel tach |
96 Corvette:
Tach signal is located at PCM, 32 pin connector, pin #13, white wire |
97-98 Corvette:
Tach signal is at PCM, blue connector (C2), pin #35, white wire | Vss signal is at PCM, red connector (C1), pin #55, dark green with white stripe wire |
99-2003 Corvette:
Tach signal is at PCM, Red 80 Pin connector (C2), pin #10, white wire **Only the face of the C2 connector is red (the side that plugs into the PCM) (C1 is blue) Set to "4 cylinder" mode (2 pulse/crank rev) if connecting at the PCM.
**NOTE** You can also get the engine speed signal, 12V power and ground from one of the ignition coils: Terminal "A" is ground. Connector wire color: Black (connect black wire of shift light here) Terminal "B" is unused Terminal "C" is engine rpm. Connector wire color: Varies depending on which coil (connect green wire of shift light here) Terminal "D" is 12 volts. Connector wire color: Pink (connect red wire of shift light here) ** Set the shift light to 1 cylinder mode if connecting to an ignition coil. Also set the shift light to high sensitivity mode since the coil signal is a low amplitude signal. |
Vss signal is at PCM, Red 80 Pin connector (C2), pin # 50, dark green with white stripe wire
|
2004 Corvette:
Tach signal is at PCM, GREEN connector (C2), pin #10, white wire | Vss signal is at PCM, GREEN connector (C2), pin # 50, dark green with white stripe wire |
2005-2007 Corvette LS2/LS6/LS7:
Tach signal located at PCM (behind passenger side wheel well, bottom connector (X1), pin #48, white wire. (X1 is a 73 position connector)
|
Vss signal located at PCM (behind passenger side wheel well), bottom connector (X1), pin #57, dark green with white stripe wire. Vss signal also goes to the Instrument Panel Cluster (pin #6/connector #2) and to the heads up display connector, (pin #3). |
2008-2013 LS3/LS7:
Tach signal located at PCM (behind passenger side wheel well, bottom connector (X1), pin #48, white wire. (X1 is a 73 position connector) The tach signal also goes to the instrument cluster (pin #5/connector #2). Set the cylinder setting to "4" (2 pulse/rev).
|
Vss signal located at PCM (behind passenger side wheel well), bottom connector (X1), pin #57, dark green with white stripe wire. Vss signal also goes to the Instrument Panel Cluster (pin #6/connector #2) and to the heads up display connector, (pin #3). |
2014-Present LT1:
2009-2013 LS9:
Tach signal is at PCM, (X1), pin #25, WHITE wire (X1 is a 56 position connector). This white wire runs through the under hood fuse block into the instrument cluster. It is connector "X2", pin #5 of instrument cluster. It also goes to the heads up display, pin #4. |
Vss signal is at PCM, (X1), pin # 39, dark green with white stripe wire. This white wire runs through the under hood fuse block into the instrument cluster. It is connector "X2", pin #6 of instrument cluster. |
**NOTE**
For LS1/LS6/LS2/LS7/LS9 engines, set shift light to "4 cylinder" mode for 2 pulse/rev (PCM tach out terminal is "2 pulse/rev)
Vss is vehicle speed signal from PCM (connect white wire of dual mode shift light here).
Tach signal is engine speed (rpm) (connect green wire of shift light here).
